Maintenance & Care

All The Information You Need To Maintain Your ClarityCoat

Exterior Maintenance Of ClarityCoat

Something we've learnt over the years is that many consumers of 'Liquid Wrapped', 'PPF'd' and 'Vinyl Wrapped' vehicles aren't aware of what is required to maintain their new purchase so that it lasts as long as possible.

We are going to make it really simple and lay out some simple 'Do's & Dont's' below which will help you keep your vehicle in perfect order.

Please note that failing to do so may invalidate your warranty so please be sure to contact us if you are unsure.

Things You Should & Shouldn't Do...

DO Wash With A Pressure Washer (low pressure)

It is recommended that you use a pressure washer under 2,000 psi (137 bar).

We do understand that from time to time this isn't always possible so we would encourage you to be aware that using a high pressure washer at 'Point Blank' range may damage your coating.

DO Take Care & Attention

If you do not know how to perform a high quality wash with proper equipment please contact us and we would be happy to help.

With over 10 Years experience in the detailing world, we have the experience to point you in the right direction.

DO Use Recommended Practices

Please only use products intended for cars and make sure to follow their guidelines.

Failing to do so may damage your coating. If you are unsure please ask.

DO NOT Use Mechanical A Mechanical Car Wash

We know this is not always avoidable but keep usage to a minimum. These machines DO scratch paint.

Excessive use may damage your coating.

DO NOT Use Acidic/Harmful Cleaning Products

These products can harm paint quickly if you are not knowledgable about them.

We recommend against using non PH Neutral products but if you are unsure please ask.

DO NOT Use Equipment Not Intended For Vehicles

Please make sure to check all towels and wash media for excess dirt. Do not use abrasive sponges such as Scotch Brite to wash your vehicle.

If you are unsure please ask.
