If you are using Luna Automotive basecoat over AutoFlex, we recommend you choose a suitable Tint. In most cases, a light grey will be just fine especially if you are changing a dark color to something lighter.

With a simple and fast application process this makes it the perfect paint to use for both small and large projects. Because this is automotive paint, we are NOT limited by colors and have access to almost all OEM paint color.
On top of this, we have launching the Beta version of our color search tool!
If you are changing the color from dark to light, make sure you consider the correct AutoFlex Tint if you are using peelable paint. Most OEM colors will go over a medium to light grey.

HOW IS IT APPLIED?
Application of our Luna Basecoat is similar to other solvent basecoat systems. The key factor here is that you apply it over ourAutoFlex Basecoat.
Step 1: Apply our Peelable Basecoat as per the user guide
Step 2: Apply your custom / chosen color (see instructions here)
Step 3: Finish with our AutoFlex High Gloss or Matte Clearcoat as normal
